The five goals that enable us to accomplish our mission are:
Leadership Development
This goal is important to every person within our church and the basis for our relationship with one another and those we serve. This goal focuses on the regional responsibility to train and equip individuals, both lay and clergy, to be effective leaders for the local faith community and beyond.
Education
This goal addresses educational opportunities that the region will provide to strengthen evangelism and develop spiritual growth and renewal for local congregations.
New Church Starts
This goal addresses the need to be a growing church by establishing 50+ new congregations in the Florida Region by 2020.
Communication and Technology
This goal addresses our need for effective dissemination of information and using state of the art equipment for the purpose of training, correspondence, search and call, program development, stewardship, and enhancing our Disciples identity throughout the region.
Resourcing
This goal addresses how to establish, maintain, provide, and advertise a variety of resources to be accessed and shared by congregations in support of their programs and church vitality.
