Born and raised in Disciples of Christ tradition. Born Sept 22, 1962, in Ashland, Ky. Baptized (by Dinsmore Nisbet) and married (by Bob Bradley) in First Christian Church (DOC), Ashland, KY. Active from youth group days, Chi Rho and CYF---was CYF president and preached the sermon on youth Sunday my senior year of high school. Have served as chairman of regional scholarship committee since its inception. Member of First Christian Church, Gainesville, since 1991. Have served on numerous ministry teams---worship, memorial fund, several search committees (chaired two) and as a deacon, as well as Moderator (Board Chairman). Currently, I am serving as an Elder, and as chairman of the Pastoral Relations Committee. Married for nearly 25 years (anniversary July 13, 1984) to Mike Robinette; BA from Morehead State University (KY), MA from University of Florida; I retired from teaching high school English/Journalism after more than 20 years, and obtained a real estate license. Have been working as a Realtor with Bosshardt Realty Services, Inc. in Gainesville for 3 ½ years.
