Here are ways to support the ministry of Christian Church (Disciples of Christ):
Annual Fund
Gifts to the Annual Fund help support the ministries that we do together and the continuation of the operations at the Christian Church Conference Center. Gifts to the Annual Fund may be designated for Conference Center Ministries.
Memorial Fund
The establishment of a Memorial Fund through gifts and bequests memorializes and honors donors or those designated. This is a permanent fund and the interest from this gift is used to support a particular ministry within the regional church as designated by the donor. A gift of $500 or more will start a memorial fund. You may establish a new Memorial Fund or contribute to one that is already established in the Regional Church.
Named Fund
A minimum of $5,000 or more establishes a perpetual witness in the donor's name (or whoever the name the donor designate) to support ministries throughout the Regional Church and the General Church. Funds appreciate periodically based on increase in net assets from operating income. You may establish a new Named Fund or contribute to one that is already established in the Regional Church.
Charitable Gift Annuity
A Charitable Gift Annuity is an agreement between an individual or two individuals and a qualified charitable organization whereby the donor transfers assets to the organization and receives fixed payments for the rest of their lifetime. A Gift Annuity can be established through the Christian Church Foundation or Church Extension by transfer of cash, appreciated stock, or other assets in exchange for guaranteed regular payments for life. There is no limit to the number of Charitable Gift Annuities you can establish. Since the rate increases as your age does, you can even consider annually funding annuities to take advantage of the rate increases. The minimum amount for funding is $2,500. You may establish a Charitable Gift Annuity and designate the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Florida as the beneficiary.
