William Carthage Morrison, Jr. (Bill) is the third Regional Minister and Corporate Secretary of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Florida, Inc. He received the call to this ministry on June 17, 2000 while serving as the Command Chaplain for the United States Army Materiel Command, Alexandria, Virginia. He took transitional leave from the Army on September 30, 2000 and assumed his duties as Regional Minister the following week. On October 28, 2000, the Regional Assembly that was convening in West Palm Beach Gardens affirmed his call as Regional Minister and voted him in as the Corporate Secretary of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Florida, Inc. On November 30, 2000, after 24 years and six months of service to his country, he retired from the United States Army in the rank of Colonel.

___Bill was ordained to the Christian ministry in 1972. He has served as pastor for ecumenical congregations in Alabama, Republic of South Korea, Kentucky, Washington, DC, Germany, Texas, and Georgia. He holds a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Golden Gate University, San Francisco, California, a Masters of Divinity (MDIV) degree from Howard University School of Divinity, Washington, DC, and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BS) degree from West Virginia State University, Institute, West Virginia.  He is a doctoral candidate in Business Management at Nova Southeastern University, Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.
